According to the definition of smartphone,
author do have those kind of phones. The
smartphone in my hand perform very intelligent, it seems can understand human’s
cognitology. Lots of sensors have been
attached onto that phone, and with the helping of central processing unit, the
phone can achieve functions like motion control, automatic light adjust and gravity
calculation on the earth’s surface. Also the phone contains a mega-pixel-level
camera lens, working together with the very powerful graphics processing unit,
can capture and display very high resolution graph. This smart phone have its
main usage as make a phone call, I can insert a SIM card to make it is available
to sending and receiving a phone call while mobilizing. The significance to
have this phone is to create an easy and convenient method for others to
contact me. However, this encrypted communication way introduce a possibility
that every person can ring my phones on, no matter I wish or not. It is really
disturbing me sometimes. Also, phone can cause brain feeling full, just as
suggested by New Tech City podcast at very beginning. This is because of
smartphone, no matter what operating system is, can allow consumers adding
applications themselves. As a results, many news apps have been installed on
phone, users reading those short article without thinking, it took some space
on memory but no use. NTC’s podcast indicated that human phone usage are 3
hours on average, however, it is far more beyond my level. Approximately time
spending on phone of mine is 6 hours per day. These 6 hours contains phone call
time, reading time and game playing time. At this stage, do not be confused by ‘playing
game’ would means I will reach my phone for sure when I am bored. I will not. Phone
are not qualified to ingratiate me. From my point of view, phones can only supply
a convenient ‘gate’ for accessing people on real societies.
Thanks for reading.
I really liked how you described this smartphone issue as our brains being "full." This description offers a tangible example for how our minds really cannot open up to creativity if it is always "on" and processing information.
ReplyDeleteI am appreciate for your agree and support, as defined by above article, human brain might have maximum bandwidth for processing. Every signal information feed will use some of main bus bandwidth, as a result. Memory space are not allowed to achieve fast calculation. The reason maybe is, cache memory are not enough to fetch the information that really needed.
DeleteThe thing interested me most is that phones can only give a convenient gate for accessing people on real society. It reminds me the movie named Matrix. It is a important question that if the world we see is the real world we live. Maybe in some day, our net society will become another world we really live in.
