The daily life begin with alarm on smartphone and end up with the gentle music from smartphone to the dream. Apparently, smartphone is one of the most important indivisible part of contemporaneity people's life. i have used smartphone for ten years. I check e-mail, get the information of the weather and find the place on the Google Map. I cannot imagine that the daily life without smartphone. Indeed a recent study by the research group Flurry found that mobile consumers now spend an average of 2 hours and 57 minutes each day on mobile devices. How many times I unlock the phone, slide the pages left and right and lock the phone, but fotgot to see the time. Do no tell me only I have this situation. Playing game and searching online are the way for me to kill time. So 5-6 hours are cost on my smartphone per day. The problem is coming out. More and more apps for chatting such as wechat, QQ and Imessages are exploited. The make the chatting easily. But at the same time, the poeple who rely on the smartphone excesively are lacking communication face to face, which can never be instead by electromagnetic waves. We lost the soul intercourse. That is a sorrowful for human. It is because that the machine cannot represent you totaly. So talk to your friends with a smile.

I am surprised that you have had a smartphone for ten years--I've only had mine for two, and I am still trying to navigate all of its features! I don't think that you are the only one with this problem as you said, though. Many people have a high dependency on their smartphone. Perhaps this is okay...up until the device loses battery, or a person is no longer in a financial situation that can support the high costs of these technological powerhouses.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I was planning to see what time was it, but I just unlock my phone and chat with my friend. Then I realized that I forgot the time! You are always leading the fashion, having used smartphones for 10 years!
ReplyDeleteI even did not know if smartphone was appeared ten years go or not. In my opinion, 5 hours is too long for student, you need study harder. As you say, waste time is not a best choice during young period.
ReplyDeleteI had to do some research on that fact too, Annie. Apparently, the first Smartphone from IBM called "Simon" became available to the public in 1994. It's fascinating how quickly technology progresses.Check this out if you are curious: http://time.com/3137005/first-smartphone-ibm-simon/

DeleteIt is true that we spend too much time on our smartphone, and I really agree with your opinion that smartphone is one of the most important things in our daily life. But I don't agree with your opinion toward the chatting app. I think those app are just designed for discussing simple problem and daily communicate with each other. For this goal, we don't need to chat face to face. What's more, we also have the app such as FaceTime that can help you talking with others face to face, may be you can try it.
