Biomedical engineering is the one of the most controversial subjects, which makes a new discipline so-called Biomedical Engineering Ethics has been arisen. A book published in 2009 indicated someone has already done research on it. The author of this book named Brey, who discussed Biomedical Engineering Ethics according to different subject features. Meanwhile, this author also, in each arguable area, pointed ethics issues with explanations. He declared that ethical of biomedical engineering are related to several fields of ethics, such as bioethics, medical ethics and engineering ethics. Author of that book given information about cell, tissue level ethics question, discussed, and also share opinion about biomaterials, prostheses and implants, and show his perceive of biomedical imaging and optics as well as neural Engineering.(Brey 2009) Book’s author mentioned a term called human enhancement. As far as I am concerned, this is a not bad experiment direction. Biomedical Engineering Ethics should allowed scientist to do the research of it. The achievement of this area will lead human to a new level, which means better quality of it. For example, if human can fly, no matter with wings or not, it can be a huge progress. Human no longer needs to buy any flight tickets for any travel purposes. This improvement also can cause aircraft fuel consume decreasing, then make this human enhancement activity become some environment-saving move. That can be called multiple purpose answer. The enhancement behave can also be used to save human life. How this activity can save human have been introduced by book’s author Brey. The ethics things of this activity may concern as if this kind of processing will make superhuman. However, this is no evidence can prove superman will harm to normal human, and just like no proof indicated that usual human will not hurt others. If there are still some worries, for those people, they should remember that everyone have them right to enhance them body, so everybody can be superhuman. This means if this research can create superhuman are not to matters. Ethics issue do required to be concerned before starting any engineering researches, however it should not being controlled so much.
